Static assets are application-owned and versioned through the build pipeline.

Media files are user/application data and must not be treated as disposable build output.

#File Lifecycle

The platform includes a file cleanup infrastructure that supports soft/hard deletion and retention policies.

Do not manually delete media directories to solve application-level cleanup problems.

#Production

Nginx serves the application's local static files where required.

Cloudflare R2 can serve selected public frontend assets.
