# Runbook — Reference Data

## Normal Flow

Reference data should normally be:

built/compiled
    |
    v
stored in R2
    |
    v
fetched by production
    |
    v
imported into PostgreSQL
```

## Commands

The project provides management commands under `devtools`, including:

python manage.py fetch_reference_data
python manage.py generate_geonames_json
python manage.py import_cities
python manage.py import_classifications
python manage.py import_country_info
python manage.py import_global_regions
python manage.py import_postal_codes
python manage.py import_timezones
```

Use country-scoped options where supported.

## Repair

If imported data is incomplete, identify whether the failure is:

```

before rerunning the entire pipeline.
