# Known Limitations

## Constrained Production VM

The current production architecture intentionally operates on a small VM. Capacity should be measured before increasing worker counts.

## CDN Dependency

When frontend CDN delivery is enabled, the application depends on the configured R2 public endpoint for those assets.

## Static Website Separation

The portfolio and documentation sites are separate static deployments. They are not served by Django in production.

## AuthX

AuthX is a separate identity service with its own lifecycle and database.

## Reference Data

Some large reference datasets are compiled externally and fetched from R2 rather than regenerated on every production deployment.

## Future Changes

New infrastructure should be introduced only when it solves a concrete capacity, reliability or product requirement.
