# Logs Runbook

## Default log

```bash
dplay logs
```

The default application is:

```text
django
```

and the default historical line count is:

```text
50
```

## Select an application

```bash
dplay logs users
dplay logs mailer
```

Application names are discovered dynamically from:

```text
webapp/logs/*.log
```

## Filter level

```bash
dplay logs mailer --level ERROR
```

Supported log levels are parsed from the project's expected log format, such
as `DEBUG`, `INFO`, `WARNING`, `ERROR`, and `CRITICAL`.

## Historical lines

```bash
dplay logs django --lines 100
```

## Disable following

```bash
dplay logs django --no-follow
```

## Missing application

The CLI reports the missing log and lists the available application log names.
