# Installation

## Microservice

```bash
pip install authx-identity
```

This installs the FastAPI service and its runtime dependencies.

## Django consumer

```bash
pip install "authx-identity[django]"
```

This adds Django for the bundled `authx_client` integration.

## Development

```bash
pip install -e ".[dev]"
```

## Python

The package requires:

Python >= 3.11
```

## Verify imports

```bash
python -c "import authx; import authx_client; print('ok')"
```
